Uses:

This medication is used to treat mild to moderate acne. It may be used in combination with other acne treatments.

Side Effects:

Bitter/metallic taste in your mouth, nausea, stomach upset, diarrhea, or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

When not to use:

Contraindicated in patients with a previous history of hypersensitivity to tinidazole or other nitroimidazole derivatives.
