Uses:

It is used by mouth or rectally to treat or prevent complications of liver disease (hepatic encephalopathy) or to release constipation.

Side Effects:

It can cause Gas, bloating, burping, stomach rumbling/pain, nausea, and cramps may occur.

When not to use:

It is contraindicated in Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient. Gastro-Intestinal obstruction.
